Change is needed in Centre Wellington
Stephen Kitras has proudly called Centre Wellington home for 38 years. He is a devoted father, grandfather, community volunteer, artist, farmer, business owner, and former councillor who has spent much of his life building, serving, and giving back to this community.
After losing his first wife, Stephen raised four wonderful children as a single dad. Today, he and Pat Rivett Kitras share a beautiful blended family of six children and 14 grandchildren.
Stephen founded and operated Kitras Art Glass for 37 years, helped lead the Fergus Elora Studio Tour, supported the Elora Centre for the Arts as a founding board member, and volunteered with local churches, festivals, the Knights of Columbus, and the Ontario Hop Growers Association.
As Ward 5 Councillor from 2014 to 2022, Stephen worked hard for economic development, affordable housing, fiscal responsibility, and a more open, democratic local government. He is ready to serve Centre Wellington again with heart, experience, and common sense.
